Nicki Dyson

REALTOR® Associate

A fifth generation Idahoan, Nicki Dyson moved to the McCall area in 1999 to work in the fisheries program with the Idaho Fish and Game, after graduating from Idaho State University with a B.S. in Biology. But don’t let her Biology background fool you, she’s spent the last 10 years in the fractional residence business at the Hearthstone, eight of those years as the resort manager. She started her real estate career at Hearthstone assisting owners with re-selling their fractional interests. During that time, she was actively involved with the Spring Mountain Ranch house committee and as a board member, giving her a well rounded history and sense of the community within the entire Spring Mountain Ranch development in addition to Hearthstone.

With a true love for real estate, Nicki particularly loves working with buyers. After walking a buyer through numerous homes that are not the right fit, there is nothing like seeing their faces light up when they have found the perfect home for their family.

Nicki is also McCall’s biggest fan. She truly enjoys sharing her knowledge with people who are new to the area. With any type of mountain recreation in reach, and the small community that really watches out for each other, it’s an open-armed, exciting welcome to any newcomer.

Nicki lives in McCall with her husband, Mike, and their two children, Gus (11) and Kate (8). With Mike’s contracting experience and current position in lumber sales at Builder’s First Source in McCall, it’s been helpful for Nicki to refer clients who are looking to buy a lot and build a new home, remodel an existing home, or simply get a read on how well constructed a home on the market is.

The Dyson family loves Hockey. Mike has been coaching in the youth program for 15 years, and is now lucky enough to coach the Dyson kids. Nicki sits on the McCall Youth Hockey Board of Directors and helps Mike manage his hockey teams as their children grow within the program. Nicki also loves skiing, hiking, fishing, and paddle boarding. She feels McCall is the perfect fit for all of these family activities.

When not practicing Real Estate or recreating, Nicki enjoys spending time at Mountain Java. Nicki and business partner, Ginnell Hellhake, have owned the small coffee shop/wine bar since 2012. In addition to striving to serve the best coffee in town, Nicki and Ginnell work hard to create a strong sense of community at the shop by hosting as many community driven events as possible and actively supporting many non profit organizations in the area through donations and fundraisers hosted by the shop.
